The Brazilian Chorizo

So... here´s a story of overcoming: During my stay here in Barcelona I made a friend, also from Brazil who happened to be staying in the same flat for two weeks and a half. We got along the moment we met and we started hanging out together. One day I was at work and she sent me an audio message: "Camilla, are you at work? Look, what are you doing this Thursday?" and I said I would have the day off, so she said she wanted me to come with her visit one nearby pueblo (town) called Cadaquès, which is the city that holds the Salvador Dalí´s former house that turned into a museum and it was his favorite city in Spain of which he painted several paintings. I got very excited with the plan so I accepted. That was when she started telling me the story, that actually she invited me because she met a friend of a friend of hers who got into her and invited her on a date to this town. My first month of the traineeship has passed and I admit not having time AT ALL to publish something here and keep you updated. This past month was full of discoveries and new experiences. My working schedules are basically the same every day, varying only from time to time. When I am not working I try to dedicate my spare time to explore this beautiful city alone or, with dear friends I have already made in this wonderful place. The city is extremely welcoming and always packed with people, which makes you feel alive every time you take a simple stroll around. Besides, in each and every corner you can encounter art and culture in many forms and variations.  During this first half of my stay in Barcelona I have been not only fully committed at work, but I have also enjoyed as much as possible.  I have mostly worked during the evenings at the hostel reception, receving the guests in and providing them with proper assistance, mostly in Spanish, English and Portuguese...
